村山さん「Pesoo、仮想通貨って知ってる？」
村山さんがおれに聞いてきた。
Pesoo「え、仮想通貨ってなんとかゴックス事件とかで、名前くらいは聞いたことありますけど。怪しくて危ないんですよね？」
村山さん「ははは。やっぱり一般的にはそう捉えられてるよね。でもね、あの事件のおかげで逆に仮想通貨は価値を認められたんだよ。」
Pesoo「はあ。」
あの時のおれはよく理解できなかったが、
村山さんは先を読むのが素晴らしい。
ビットコインでは大儲けをして、
大暴落の前にうまく売って切り抜けたらしい。
いつも村山さんの話を聞くと
自分の中にあったお金の概念が変わってくる。
ちなみに仮想通貨とは英語でいろいろ言い方がある。
①Crypto currency（これが一番耳にする感じがする）
「crypto」は「秘密の、暗号文の」の意味。
②Virtual currency
③Digital money
これからの時代できっと役に立つ仮想通貨の知識を

仮想通貨全般を英語で7つのポイントにまとめてみたので
英語で簡単に説明できるようになってみよう。
①In early 2009, an anonymous group of programmers under the name of Satoshi Nakamoto introduced Bitcoin.
②It is a peer-to-peer electronic cash system.
③It is completely decentralized, or has no central controlling authority.
④Blockchain is a public ledger of all transaction that ever happened within the network, which can be seen by everyone in the network.
⑤Every transaction is a file which is made of the sender’s and recipient’s public keys and the amount of coins transferred. The transaction also needs to b signed off by the sender with their private key.
⑥Cryptocurrencies can be used to pay for many things recently.
⑦Cryptocurency can be a completely new system, which is decentralized, self-sustained, and not controlled by any singular entity.
終わりに
今回は仮想通貨について英語で学んでみた。
お金とは結局のところ生きていくために必要な
エネルギーがもともとの根源である。
お金という物質を欲しがるのではなく、
エネルギーが集まるようにすればいいらしい。
