アマゾンで買い物をしたことがある人はいるだろう。
ボクがアマゾンでよく買うものとは。。。
本が多い。
もともとアマゾンはオンラインのブックショップからスタートさせたものらしいし
本だと基本は送料無料だからありがたい。
そんなアマゾンの創業者ジョフ・ベゾスについて英語で学んでみよう。
ジョフ・ベゾスとは？（Wikipedhiaより）
1964年にアメリカで生まれたジェフベゾスはAmazon.comの共同創設者。
世界最大級の資産家の一人である。
１９８６年にプリンストン大学を卒業したベゾスはインテルなどの大手からオファーを受けた。
３０歳まで(１９９４年まで)、FITEL、バンカーストラスト、D.E.ショーで働いた。
１９９３年の後半からベゾスはオンライン書店を始めることを決める。
ニューヨークからシアトルの移動中に事業計画を書き上げて、
自宅のガレージでAmazonを立ち上げた。
最初は書店だったが、１９９８年に音楽と映像もオンラインで販売を始めた。
さらには様々な日用品も取り扱うようになっていった。
そこからは事業を拡大していき今のようになっていった。
