「織田信長: Oda Nobunaga」
Oda Nobunaga was a Japanese daimyō and one of the leading figures of the Sengoku period. He is regarded as the first “Great Unifier” of Japan.
Nobunaga’s rule was noted for innovative military tactics, fostering of free trade, reforms of Japan’s civil government, and the start of the Momoyama historical art period, but also for the brutal suppression of those who refused to cooperate or yield to his demands. Nobunaga was killed in the Honnō-ji Incident in 1582, when his retainer Akechi Mitsuhide ambushed him in Kyoto and forced him to commit seppuku. Nobunaga was succeeded by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who along with Tokugawa Ieyasu completed his war of unification shortly afterwards.

The old farmer and his wife visited the menagerie.
When they halted before the hippopotamus cage, he remarked admiringly:
“That’s an interesting fish, ain’t it, ma?”
“That ain’t a fish,” the wife announced.
“That’s a rep-tile.”
It was thus that the argument began.
It progressed to a point of such violence that the old lady began belaboring the husband with her umbrella.
The old man dodged and ran, with the wife in pursuit.
The trainer had just opened the door of the lions’ cage, and the farmer popped in.
He crowded in behind the largest lion and peered over its shoulder fearfully at his wife, who, on the other side of the bars, shook her umbrella furiously.
“Coward!” she shouted. “Coward!”
