In a remote land, an atheist stood at the brink of an abyss, suffering from an old affliction. He carried a dusty book with an addendum written by a greedy king whose avarice was matched only by his thirst for adulation. The book described an anachronism: a knight using a smartphone in medieval times.
Meanwhile, the kingdom was drowning in arrears, and its citizens demanded autonomy. The king was arrested but quickly paid bail and hid in an underground bunker. A priest gave a benediction to the poor, while a secret benefactor donated money anonymously. However, anyone who questioned the king’s holiness was accused of blasphemy, and even the smallest blemish on a record could mean exile. The land remained forever on the brink of chaos.
