Title: The Council of Chaos
The world was in turmoil, and a secret council was formed to arbitrate between nations. Their goal was to ameliorate the worsening global crisis. But before talks could begin, a group of rebels ambushed the peace envoys. The attack was meant to agitate the public and antagonize any efforts toward unity.
Despite the danger, a young leader stepped forward. The elders anointed her as the chosen peacemaker. Her speech astounded the world and was acclaimed by both allies and enemies.
One day, a strange man accosted her on the street, warning of a plan to assail the capital. The leader acted fast, ordering the military to prepare and the council to abrogate outdated laws that hindered response.
The battle that followed nearly annihilated the rebels. The chaos began to abate, and hope slowly accrued among the people. In the aftermath, the courts absolved many innocent rebels who had been misled. A final note of unity was appended to the constitution, and conflict measures were introduced to attenuate future tensions.
