Mnemonic: “Auspicious” starts like “Awesome.” → Awesome start = auspicious
Association: 縁起の良い行事（七五三や初日の出）
Example:

arduous（骨の折れる、困難な）
Mnemonic: “Hard + to do = arduous”
Association: 富士山登山、試験勉強
Example:

dismal（陰気な、憂鬱な）
Mnemonic: “This mall is so dismal” → 想像：シャッター商店街
