バキとは？
『バキ』は板垣恵介によって創作された日本の漫画シリーズです。1991年に始まった格闘技サーガ『グラップラー刃牙』から続く長編シリーズの一部です。物語は、地上最強の生物と呼ばれる父・範馬勇次郎を超えるために日々過酷な修行を重ねる少年格闘家・範馬刃牙を中心に展開されます。
バキシリーズには以下のような作品群があります：
『グラップラー刃牙』 – オリジナル作品で、地下格闘技と刃牙の修行を中心に描かれています。
『バキ』 – 『新・グラップラー刃牙』とも呼ばれ、死刑囚編や「最大トーナメント」など命がけの戦いが描かれます。
『範馬刃牙』 – 刃牙が父・勇次郎との対決に向けて準備を進め、ついに親子対決が実現します。
『バキ道』 – シリーズの続編で、歴史上の人物や架空の存在とのさらに規格外のバトルが展開されます。
Baki is a Japanese manga series created by Keisuke Itagaki. It’s part of a long-running martial arts saga that began with Grappler Baki in 1991. The series follows Baki Hanma, a teenage martial artist who trains intensely to surpass his father, Yujiro Hanma, who is known as the strongest creature on Earth.
There are several series under the Baki franchise:
Grappler Baki (グラップラー刃牙) – The original manga, focusing on underground fighting and Baki’s training.
Baki (バキ) – Also known as New Grappler Baki, this arc features the deadly “Maximum Tournament” and the “Death Row Inmates.”
Hanma Baki (範馬刃牙) – Baki prepares to fight his father, culminating in the father-son battle.
Baki-Dou (バキ道) – A continuation with even more outrageous fights, including battles with historical and fictional figures.
Bakidou (バキ道) – The latest part of the series.
範馬 刃牙（はんま ばき）
範馬刃牙は主人公です。彼は世界で最強の格闘家になるために毎日トレーニングをしています。父親の範馬勇次郎を超えることを目指しています。冷静で集中力があり、さまざまな格闘技に長けています。
Baki Hanma is the main character. He trains every day to become the strongest fighter in the world, hoping to surpass his father, Yujiro Hanma. He is calm, focused, and very skilled in many fighting styles.
範馬 勇次郎（はんま ゆうじろう）
範馬勇次郎は刃牙の父親で、「地上最強の生物」と呼ばれています。政府や軍隊からも恐れられており、圧倒的な力と残忍さで戦います。
Yujiro Hanma is Baki’s father and is called “the strongest creature on Earth.” He is feared by governments and armies. He fights using overwhelming strength and brutality.
愚地 独歩（おろち どっぽ）
愚地独歩は空手の達人で、新心会空手の会長です。名誉を重んじる武道家であり、致命的な技を持つベテラン格闘家です。
Doppo Orochi is a karate master and leader of the Shinshinkai Karate school. He is a seasoned fighter known for his strong sense of honor and deadly techniques.
愚地 克巳（おろち かつみ）
愚地克巳は独歩の養子で、若くして才能にあふれています。強くなることに情熱を持ち、自分の格闘スタイルを確立していきます。空手と中国拳法を融合させる技も使います。
Katsumi Orochi is the adopted son of Doppo. He is young, talented, and eager to become stronger. He develops his own fighting style and even fuses karate with Chinese martial arts.
烈 海王（れつ かいおう）
烈海王は中国の海王一族に属する武術の達人です。中国拳法の伝統を代表しており、スピードと優雅さ、そして正確さを兼ね備えた戦い方をします。
Retsu Kaioh is a Chinese martial arts master from the Kaioh clan. He represents traditional Chinese Kenpo and fights with speed, grace, and precision.
花山 薫（はなやま かおる）
花山薫は若きヤクザの組長で、常人離れした怪力の持ち主です。正式な格闘技は使わず、純粋な力とタフさで戦います。義理と人情を重んじる人物です。
Kaoru Hanayama is a young yakuza boss with superhuman strength. He does not use formal martial arts but fights with sheer power and toughness. He values loyalty and honor.
ジャック・ハンマー
ジャック・ハンマーは刃牙の異母兄です。勇次郎に勝つため、自分の体を手術や薬で限界まで強化しました。非常に激しく、痛みに耐えながら戦うスタイルです。
Jack Hanma is Baki’s older half-brother. He pushed his body to the limit with surgeries and drugs to become powerful enough to beat Yujiro. He fights with ferocity and pain tolerance.
ビスケット・オリバ
ビスケット・オリバは「アンチェイン（鎖につながれない男）」とも呼ばれるアメリカの超人兵士です。普通の刑務所では抑えきれないため、自ら監獄にいます。筋肉の塊で、ほとんど無敵です。
Biscuit Oliva, also called “Mr. Unchained,” is an American super-soldier held in prison because no normal cell can contain him. He has massive muscles and is nearly invincible.
ピクル
ピクルは氷の中から蘇った太古の人類です。本能と古代の力だけで戦います。言葉を話しませんが、その力は恐ろしいほど強大です。
Pickle is a prehistoric man revived from ice. He fights using pure instinct and ancient strength. He doesn’t speak, but his power is terrifying.
