スラムダンクとは？
『スラムダンク』は、井上井恵（いのうえたけひこ）によって描かれた日本のバスケットボール漫画です。1990年から1996年まで「週刊少年ジャンプ」に連載されました。主人公は桜木花道（さくらぎはなみち）という高校生で、最初はバスケットボールに興味がありませんでしたが、好きな女の子のためにバスケ部に入ります。物語は、彼がバスケを通して成長していく姿と、湘北高校（しょうほくこうこう）バスケ部の仲間たちとの絆を描いています。
この作品は日本だけでなく、世界中で人気があり、多くの人にバスケットボールの魅力を伝えました。
Slam Dunk is a Japanese basketball manga created by Takehiko Inoue. It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1990 to 1996. The story follows a high school student named Hanamichi Sakuragi, who initially has no interest in basketball. However, he joins the basketball team to impress a girl he likes.
As the story goes on, Hanamichi becomes passionate about the sport. He trains hard, grows as a player, and forms strong friendships with his teammates in the Shohoku High School basketball team. The manga shows not only exciting basketball games, but also themes of hard work, teamwork, and personal growth.
Slam Dunk became extremely popular not only in Japan but also around the world. It helped spread the love of basketball to many fans.
桜木花道（Hanamichi Sakuragi）
桜木花道は、スラムダンクの主人公で、湘北高校1年生です。ケンカが強くて目立ちたがり屋ですが、バスケ初心者です。最初は女の子のために入部しましたが、だんだん本気でバスケに取り組むようになります。
Hanamichi Sakuragi is the main character of Slam Dunk. He is a first-year student at Shohoku High School. He’s tall, strong, and hot-tempered. He joins the basketball team to impress a girl, but soon he becomes serious about the sport.
流川楓（Kaede Rukawa）
流川楓は桜木のライバルで、同じく湘北高校1年生です。クールで無口ですが、バスケの天才です。女子にモテますが、バスケにしか興味がありません。
Kaede Rukawa is Sakuragi’s rival and also a first-year student at Shohoku. He’s cool, quiet, and extremely talented in basketball. Many girls like him, but he only cares about basketball.
赤木剛憲（Takeshi Akagi）
赤木は湘北高校バスケ部のキャプテンで、3年生です。あだ名は「ゴリ」で、体が大きく、リーダーシップがあります。夢は全国大会出場です。
Takeshi Akagi is the captain of Shohoku’s basketball team. He is a third-year student. His nickname is “Gori” because of his powerful build. He’s serious and dreams of going to the national championship.
赤木晴子（Haruko Akagi）
晴子は赤木の妹で、桜木にバスケを勧めた女の子です。明るくて優しく、桜木の憧れの人です。
Haruko Akagi is Takeshi Akagi’s younger sister. She is the girl who introduced Sakuragi to basketball. She is cheerful, kind, and Sakuragi has a crush on her.
宮城リョータ（Ryota Miyagi）
宮城は湘北高校のポイントガードで、2年生です。身長は低いですが、スピードとテクニックに優れています。赤木晴子が好きです。
Ryota Miyagi is Shohoku’s point guard and a second-year student. He is short but very fast and skillful. He also has a crush on Haruko.
三井寿（Hisashi Mitsui）
三井は湘北の3年生で、元MVPのシューターです。一度バスケをやめましたが、戻ってきました。熱いハートを持っています。
Hisashi Mitsui is a third-year student and a top shooter. He was once MVP in middle school but quit basketball for a while. He came back to the team with passion and determination.
彩子（Ayako）
彩子はバスケ部のマネージャーで、しっかり者のお姉さん的存在です。宮城とは仲が良いです。
Ayako is the team manager of Shohoku. She is reliable and acts like an older sister to the team. She is especially close with Miyagi.
安西先生（Coach Anzai）
安西先生は湘北高校バスケ部の監督です。優しそうな見た目ですが、昔は「白髪鬼（しらがおに）」と呼ばれた厳しいコーチでした。
Coach Anzai is the coach of Shohoku. He looks kind and calm, but he used to be a strict coach known as the “White-Haired Devil.” Now he teaches with warmth and wisdom.
仙道彰（Akira Sendoh）
仙道は陵南高校のエースプレイヤーで、落ち着いた性格です。バスケのセンスが非常に高く、試合中も冷静です。
Akira Sendoh is the ace player of Ryonan High School. He is calm, laid-back, and very skilled at basketball. He stays cool even during tough games.
牧紳一（Shinichi Maki）
牧は海南大附属高校のキャプテンで、全国トップレベルの選手です。パワーと技術を兼ね備えたスーパースターです。
Shinichi Maki is the captain of Kainan High School. He is one of the top players in the country. He has both power and technique.
沢北栄治（Eiji Sawakita）
沢北は山王工業のエースで、日本最強の高校生プレイヤーとされています。アメリカ留学を目指しています。
Eiji Sawakita is the ace of Sannoh High School. He is known as the best high school basketball player in Japan. He plans to go to the U.S. to study and play.
