もののけ姫とは？

アシタカ
アシタカは物語の主人公で、エミシ族の王子です。村を守る際に猪の怨霊から呪いを受け、呪いを解くために西の地を旅します。彼は人間と森の精霊たちの対立に巻き込まれ、勇敢で思いやりがあり、平和を求める人物です。
Ashitaka is the protagonist of the story. He is a prince from the Emishi tribe who is cursed by a boar demon while protecting his village. To find a cure, he travels west, where he becomes involved in the conflict between humans and the forest spirits. Ashitaka is brave, compassionate, and seeks to bring peace between the two sides.
サン
サン（もののけ姫とも呼ばれる）は、狼に育てられた人間の少女です。森を守るために戦い、自然を破壊する人間を憎んでいます。当初はアシタカに敵対しますが、次第に彼の考えを理解するようになります。
San, also known as Princess Mononoke, is a human girl raised by wolves. She fights fiercely to protect the forest and resents humans for destroying nature. Although initially hostile to Ashitaka, she gradually begins to understand his perspective.
エボシ御前
エボシ御前は、タタラ場（鉄の町）の指導者で、人間の進歩と工業化を象徴しています。彼女は森を切り開いて資源を得ることに執着していますが、ハンセン病患者や女性たちを助けるなど、思いやりのある面もあります。
Lady Eboshi is the leader of Iron Town, representing human progress and industrialization. She is determined to clear the forest for resources but is also compassionate toward her people, offering refuge to lepers and women.
モノの君
モロの君は巨大な白狼で、森の守護者です。サンを自分の子どもとして育て、人間に対して深い敵意を抱いています。激しい性格ですが、賢明で家族や森を守る存在です。
Moro is a giant white wolf and the guardian of the forest. She raised San as her own and harbors deep hostility toward humans. Despite her fierce nature, she is wise and protective of her family and the forest.
シシ神
シシ神は森の生命と死を司る神秘的な存在です。昼は鹿のような姿をし、夜になると巨大な夜行者に変わります。自然のバランスを保つ上で重要な役割を果たします。
The Forest Spirit is a mystical deity that governs life and death in the forest. It appears as a deer-like creature during the day and transforms into a towering Night-Walker at night. It plays a central role in the balance of nature.
ジコ坊
ジコ坊は朝廷に仕える僧で、政治的な利益のためにシシ神の首を狙っています。ずる賢く策略家で、対立の中心にいる人物です。
Jiko-bō is a monk working for the emperor who seeks the head of the Forest Spirit for political gain. He is cunning, manipulative, and plays a key role in the conflict.
ヤックル
ヤックルはアシタカの忠実な赤い鹿の相棒です。勇敢で信頼できる存在で、旅の途中でアシタカをさまざまな形で助けます。
Yakul is Ashitaka’s loyal red elk companion. He is courageous, reliable, and accompanies Ashitaka on his journey, helping him in various ways.
