さつき

Satsuki is the older sister, around 11 years old. She is responsible, caring, and acts as a protector to her younger sister Mei. As the more mature sibling, she helps her father with everyday tasks while they both adjust to life in the countryside. Throughout the film, Satsuki shows a deep emotional connection to her family, especially her mother, and her bond with Mei and the magical creatures they encounter is central to the story.
めい

Mei is the younger sister, around 4 years old. She is curious, adventurous, and often the first to encounter the magical creatures in the film. たつお（父）
たつおはさつきとメイの父親で、穏やかで優しい性格をしています。大学の教授として働いており、母親のもとに近づくために家族を田舎に移住させます。穏やかな性格は、元気な二人の娘たちとは対照的です。
Tatsuo is the father of Satsuki and Mei. He is a gentle, loving, and supportive figure in their lives. 靖子（母）
