今日はイソップ物語を使ってスピーキング練習を行おう。
最初はサイトトランスレーションを行い、
その後で物語を語れるようになれるようになろう。
The Wolf and the Shepherds オオカミと羊飼い
A Wolf passing by, saw some shepherds in a hut eating for their dinner a haunch of mutton.
Approaching them, he said:
“What a clamor you would raise, if I were to do as you are doing!”
Men are too apt to condemn in others the very things
they practice themselves.
「shepherd: 羊飼い」「hut: 小屋」「haunch: 臀部（でんぶ：お尻肉）」
「mutton: ヒツジ肉」「clamor: 抗議の叫び」「be apt to: ～しがちである」
「condemn: 非難する」
ある一匹のオオカミが通りかかった時、小屋の中では羊飼いたちが
ヒツジのもも肉の夕食を食べているのを見かけました。
オオカミは彼らに近づいて言いました。
「もしも私（オオカミ）が同じことをやったら
ものすごく文句を張り上げるくせに！」
人間とは他の人間が同じことをやったことに対しては非難する傾向にある。
